The client is an important English company operating in the chemical sector, with more than 50 years of experience, which needs to palletize canisters from its filling line.
The job order, acquired thanks to our agent operating in England, is noteworthy both for its high production capacity and the diversity of products to be handled.
Description of the canister palletizing line:
The canisters to be palletized, containing chemical products, are of different sizes: 5, 10, 25 and 30 L; with a productivity that varies according to capacity, up to 16 products/minute for the less demanding ones. They are arranged with different palletizing formats depending on the type of pallet, these in EURO, CHEP and 1040x1040 mm formats. The operator can easily change the palletizing recipe with a few simple inputs in the control panel, thanks to a very intuitive User-Interface programmed by Europack.
The product arrives directly from the filling line on a motorized belt conveyor and is prepared for palletizing by a series of pneumatic devices that serve to compact/separate according to the arrangement pattern in the pallet. The robot, a Winner 600 GREEN, has a customized gripper head suitable for canister palletization in both single and double pickings, adapting to various formats. In addition, a suction cup system also allows in the same head the automated handling of the non-slip paper sheet to be placed on the empty pallet.
The pallet, in its various formats, is automatically handled by a dispenser and reaches the palletizing area via a rotary platform, forming a 90-degree angle. Immediately after the canister palletizing part, a pallet wrapping line also follows thanks to an automatic rotary table. This is included with an upper dustproof feeder. The whole thing is integrated by Europack and connected to the palletizing line, without the need for other intermediaries.
Why choose Europack:
Customer needs to palletize canisters of different sizes highlight the high level of flexibility and customization of Europack lines. All of which can be interacted with through a user-friendly interface, accessible by any operator, and with a look at energy savings thanks to the KERS system. In addition, the ability to integrate third-party systems and put them in communication with each other highlights the team's high level of experience and professionalism.
